Tweety’s story

Tweety was adopted from a rescue center where he was surrendered by the previous owners after 3 days of ownership because at night he was left out of the bedroom, and he wouldn’t stop crying ( he indeed is hating closed doors 😊)

He is a cross between a Scottish Fold Short Hair and Scottish Fold Long Hair. When we received him, at 4 months his ears were partially folded.

Around age of 1 year noticed he stopped jumping and started sleeping more and one day when brushing I noticed the front right leg joint was tender – he mewed when I touch it. Also noticed that when he was jumping, he was limping for a short amount of time.

After discussing the issue with our Vet and noting strange was found, I started reading and learning from Internet about this breed health issues and this is how I found about OCD. After reading several materials, I decided to add him food supplement which help in cartilage regeneration and had a great surprise, in his case it worked.

In something like 1-1,5 months he started to play more, jump a little more and be more present and happier. Around 4 months after taking the same supplement on daily basis, his hears started to become straight and now they are completely straight 😲
